How can we thank God enough on your account on Thanksgiving?

Shalom to you and family. I wish a blessed Thanksgiving in the name of Yeshua the Messiah.

Thanksgiving, 400 years ago, Saturday November 21, 1620 the Pilgrims, arrived to the shores of Plymouth, MA, a destiny they did not plan for in the first place. But God providentially used the wind to blow them off the coast of VA to their unintended destination to New England. It paralleled my own story. When I first came to the USA in 1988, seeking religious freedom, I temporarily stayed in the house of my Irish American family friend in Boston MA for a couple of weeks. One day, I planned to go to Washington, DC. I took a bus and got off the bus prematurely in New Jersey. Having nothing to loose, God providentially made NJ my home for the next 13 years. Then in 2001 in my missionary travels, touring New England for the second time in 12 years, I met Hannah my wife to be from MA. We got married and moved to MA and have been here for the past 19 years where God blesses us with 8 children. Iam very grateful to adopt America as my second home country and relive the vision of the Pilgrims and the Puritans. This is the definition of American Exceptionalism, a city on the Hill that can't be hidden. Please pass it on to the next generation. You are the reasons to be Thankful to God for on Thanksgiving Day.

What is happening now?

I am writing to you at this time for prayer and support as we are approaching the end of the year. Thank you for everything and for bearing with me and my family. Here are some pressing needs, by the grace of God it can be met.

From my last newsletter that went out, of the $37,000 monthly support needed to sustain the ministry, by the grace of God and with your generosity, I was able to raise $7000 just last week.

Out of the $ 7000, we earmarked $ 6000 which went out directly to repair the Eyibi bridge which was washed out so that we can access the Beth Israel farmland where as $1000 went out for medicine. I have now less than 8 days to raise the balance of $30,000 to carry out the rest of the expenses here in the USA and in the South Sudan.

Pray that the Lord will raise the balance $30,000 to address the followings:

We have been waiting for this day - ONMI country director is moving his family back to South Sudan before the end of the year.

1- We need $7,500 of the $30,000 to renovate mission 2 buildings, 1 field clinic and 4 staff houses to help the family of the country director of Operation Nehemiah to move back to South Sudan after 4 years in exile. Working and running the ministry from Uganda on daily bases in this middle of Covid 19 crossing back and forth into South Sudan is not longer an option. The war is over. I was scheduled to travel this November to go and validate field report but due to circumstances beyond my control, I will wait until January. I want to spend the rest of the these two months here in the USA to mobilize the much needed resources to renovate mission facilities and prepare our staff to move back home to South Sudan.

In the Footsteps of Apostle Paul, you are helping ONMI in collecting the gifts to the brethren in South Sudan as he did to the Brethren in Jerusalem 2000 years ago. The practice of collecting money at Christian worship services is almost as old as Christianity itself. Within a few decades of Jesus' death, the apostle Paul initiated a collection of money from communities he visited to support impoverished Christians in Jerusalem.

"Now concerning the collection for the saints: you should follow the directions I gave to the churches of Galatia. On the first day of every week, each of you is to put aside and save whatever extra you earn, so that collections need not be taken when I come. And when I arrive, I will send any whom you approve with letters to take your gift to Jerusalem. If it seems advisable that I should go also, they will accompany me. I will visit you after passing through Macedonia—for I intend to pass through Macedonia— 6and perhaps I will stay with you or even spend the winter, so that you may send me on my way, wherever I go. I do not want to see you now just in passing, for I hope to spend some time with you, if the Lord permits. But I will stay in Ephesus until Pentecost, for a wide door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many adversaries." (1 Cor 16:1–4])

Huge Decision and undertaking for the country director and field staff

This is prayer request from field staff that they want to welcome the next US Mission team inside South Sudan on permanent bases comes January 2021. Enough is enough in exile. This is the biggest development and decision we have come to make and the bridge to cross in 4 years. Ever since people went to exile, we have been in the waiting and anticipation for this day. But now, it is time to set up example, and live by it, Operation Nehemiah Missions' country's director, Pastor Timothy Levi and ONMI Pastoral staff currently staying in Bibia, Uganda, about 7 miles from the South Sudanese border are moving back home.

We have at least 7 mission and staff houses to fix between now and before the end of the year. These few weeks before us will need all hands to the deck. We need your prayers, support and encouragement to make all this possible.

Life in Bethlehem Borongole ONMI mission compound before from 2009-2016

Why is it important for the country director of Operation Nehemiah Missions to make the initiative to move back to South Sudan a priority?

1- Back in July 2016, ONMI's Mission Compound in Bethlehem Borongole was the last one to be temporarily evacuated due to the national crisis which erupted that year. More than 100 families took refuge in the mission premise for at least three weeks before mass exodus to Uganda. Since then the premise has been managed by four staff. We want to to be good steward of the things that God has entrusted to the ministry through your benevolent support of the ministry of ONMI. This is not the time to give up.

2- ONMI Country director and key leaders bringing his their families back along with several staff and their families will demonstrate leadership to build confidence and capacity for those in exile who are planning returning home also.

3- It is time for the country director to set an example for the exiles to come home.

4- The mission premise is the only place where there is infrastructure with water, road and intact buildings which require very minimum repair such as doors, windows and ceilings and roofing for people to move in. The church building is still in good shape. So we have a house of worship in place.

5- We have two mission houses which need new doors, ceiling and roof repair and windows. The building will house temporary families returning from exile with no where to live. We will have turn over every 1 month so that others can also use the building.

6- Nehemiah Field Clinic is in good condition but ceilings, windows and doors need repairs.

7- There are 4 buildings in the staff quarters which need new windows and doors

8- We need $7500 to help with Gospel radio tower. The fund will cover lightning earthing, antenna cable and tower maintenance.

9- We need $7500 to address Ministry expenses here in the USA.

10 - We need $7500 to deal with my expenses involving the staff support for the family.

Total: $37,000.00

Prayer Needs. It is not over: USA Election.. All legal and constitutional Remedies should be exhausted to address fraud and stolen election in this country!

PRAYERS to BIND all TREACHERY and DECEPTION in the 2020 Elections! God WILL have His way!!

LET'S DECREE in the name of Yeshua that:

1. The enemy's schemes and scams to hijack or steal the 2020 election will be fruitless and fail! The spirit of Haman will be hung on its own gallows!

2. Any and all attempts of the enemy to derail the plans and purposes of God in the 2020 elections, and in the USA, will be utterly defeated!

3. Praise God that He will make a spectacle of the enemy in these elections, showing that The One True God truly is the Lord ALL MIGHTY and INVINCIBLE in every battle!

Prayer, National Day of Prayers in South Sudan to be scheduled:

Pray for these US Spiritual leaders: Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, Rev. Franklin Graham, and Arch Bishop Foley Beach as their wisdom and participation were sought by South Sudanese government delegation to the US to bring Repentance and Restoration to the country of South Sudan in 2021. Historic Meeting between South Sudan Government Delegation and Samaritan's Purse, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn and Arch Bishop Foley Beach coordinated by Operation Nehemiah Missions was conducted in October to bring to bear on this event. The goal is to seek God's intervention in bringing a healing to South Sudan and restore relationship among her people and with American Christians and Government. South Sudan has decided to initiate bilateral relations with United States, which has always been indispensable and instrumental during our darkest hours. The South Sudanese delegation was approaching this relationship with both US Government first beginning with the Church leaders from the standpoint of our shared and cherished value which is our Christian Biblical world view on which our faith, family and freedom are anchored in Jesus Christ.

Pray for my family:

He who began this work in us will bring it to completion: “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” Philippians 1:6
