Dear co-laborers in the Great Commission,
I hope all is going well with you in the name above all names Yeshua the Messiah. I am reaching out to you from the vibrant yet challenging environment of South Sudan, where I am currently engaged with ONMI. First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to God for you and for all the unwavering support you have generously extended towards ONMI. Your contributions have been instrumental in enabling our mission here, and I cannot thank you enough for your commitment and dedication.
I have now been in South Sudan for almost five months, and during this time, I have witnessed both the struggles and the triumphs of our work firsthand. My presence here is not just for the mission; I am also fulfilling family obligations, as Sarah and I were united in marriage back in December 2024. This personal milestone has added a layer of joy to my experience here, as we navigate this journey together amidst the complexities of our work.
In addition to my familial responsibilities, I am actively overseeing the operations on the ground on a daily basis. The mission work is progressing well, especially in terms of sustainability, which is a significant focus for us. I am pleased to report that the John and Judy MacLean Polytechnic Institute has officially opened its doors, and we are also making strides with the BNPA and the Beth Israel Farmland NTC 97.3 FM station. These initiatives are crucial for the community, providing education and resources that empower the locals and foster growth.
In terms of logistics and transportation, I have placed an order for a vehicle from Dubai, and I am eagerly anticipating its arrival in South Sudan over the next few weeks. This vehicle will be essential for our family transportation enabling us to facilitate our work more efficiently. Thank to you for your un waving support.
ONMI continues to stand strong behind its monthly support of $40,000, which is vital for sustaining our programs and initiatives. I am currently working on securing Sarah's passport, which is an important step in processing her documents to enable her to join me in the USA. This transition is significant for both of us, as it will allow us to continue our journey together while contributing to the mission from a different perspective.
I am reaching out to you to emphasize the urgent need for $40,000 to be raised this month. This funding is critical for ONMI to catch up on various operational costs and ensure that we can maintain the momentum we have built. Your support in this endeavor would be invaluable, as it will directly impact the lives of many individuals and families who rely on our services. Together, we can continue to make a difference in this beautiful yet challenging land.
