May you take this moment to pray for my family.
Shalom to co-laborers in the Great Commission, I hope you are doing well in the Lord. More than ever before, I come before you today asking for your prayers from God to sustain my family and during this moment of tremendous trial in our lives. We need prayer for emotional, physical, and spiritual protection over my family and ministry. May the Lord protect us from evil during this trial, and help us to trust Him as our refuge and strength. Pray that God will guard our hearts and minds from harmful instruction, and grant us discernment to recognize truth. Pray that God will make us strong and courageous in the presence of danger, recognizing that He has overcome and will set right all injustice and wrong one day. Help us to find rest and shalom in His shadow, as we live in the spiritual shelter He provide for us. Let us know that the only safe place is in Yeshua, and that our home on earth is only temporary.
It is an unfortunate reality that we all will face obstacles sometime during our lives. Some of us may face financial troubles, marriage, family, while others may suffer with physical troubles. Regardless of the problem, it can make us feel scared, alone, sad and angry.
Some people believe that once you become a Christian, all your problems go away. However believing in Yeshua doesn’t mean your woes disappear, instead it means that you never have to go through anything alone. the Holy Spirit will guide us
1 Peter 5:10
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle [you].
Sudden or extreme onslaught of various troubles, losses, and trials
This is a ruthless attack that Satan levels against us. It seems to come out of nowhere, and it’s just one thing after another. It’s hard to even see straight, you feel your life is suddenly spinning out of control. Job’s life is an example to us of what this may be like (Job 1-2). The devil went to God to ask him if he could torment Job, thinking he would try to lead him away from the Lord through the many struggles he faced. As we know from the book of Job, this righteous man stood strong. Though it seemed he was losing everything dear to him, he knew that God held him secure through all the loss and hardship around him. God will never allow the enemy to have full control, he doesn’t have the final say over our lives. We may face battles and attacks in this world, but we can trust in our Mighty God to be our shelter through it all.
Pray for us parents to Set an Example for Our Children
“Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:16-17
