Celebrating a Milestone: Successful Graduation Ceremony at Bethlehem Nursery and Primary Academy
Esteemed BNPA administrative staff, parents, students, area security personnel, local chiefs of Borongole and Pageri, and the entire ONMI and BIMK administration, I extend my heartfelt gratitude for your pivotal role in making the graduation of our pupils from K-3 to P1 on November 28th, 2025, at Bethlehem Nursery and Primary Academy an outstanding success. This event was not merely a ceremony; it represented a monumental milestone in the educational journey of our young learners and a significant moment in the history of the academy itself. The promotional march started at Bethlehem of Borongole and ended in Pageri, covering about 5 miles.

Celebrating Student Achievements and Honoring Our Connection and love for Israel and highlight of our most recent CMS c Summit.
My wife Sarah and I felt profoundly honored to be part of this significant occasion, which brought together the community in celebration of the achievements of our students and the hard work of the staff and families who supported them. We also combined the march with a remembrance of the people of Israel and our most recent visit to Jerusalem, Israel, to attend the CMS - GPO Summit in Jerusalem from November 2nd to 6th, 2025, as we are committed to educating and encouraging Christian students and the youth to love God and the people of Israel and the birthplace and ministry of Yeshua, where our faith originated.

Gratitude for Key Contributors to a Successful Graduation Ceremony
Special thanks are due to the dedicated leaders of BNPA, particularly Education Coordinator Joseph Levi, Assistant Administrator Charity Modong, and Micky Isaac Ogwal, whose exceptional coordination and tireless efforts ensured that the graduation ceremony ran smoothly and was filled with joy and pride. Their commitment to excellence in education and community engagement was evident throughout the planning and execution of this event. I also express my sincere appreciation to the ONMI administration for providing the bus to BNPA, which facilitated the transportation of attendees and enabled such vital activities to occur seamlessly.
Promising Future: BNPA's Expansion and Academic Milestones
The future of BNPA is indeed promising, as evidenced by this K-3 graduation coinciding with the groundbreaking of two dormitories intended to accommodate 200 students. This development reflects our commitment to expanding educational opportunities and fostering a nurturing environment for all learners. These efforts culminated at the end of the year with our second batch of BNPA P8 students taking their South Sudan Primary Leaving Examination, a crucial step in their academic progression and a testament to the quality of education being provided at our institution.

CMS Summit to Israel
During our visit to Israel for the Christian Media Summit in Jerusalem from November 2nd-6th, alongside Bishop Gabriel, Sarah and I had the privilege of representing both South Sudan and the USA, as I hold dual citizenship. Invited by the Israel GPO Press Office, we attended the CMS 7th Summit, which was particularly poignant following the recent release of hostages taken by Hamas terrorists. Our tour, Centered in Jerusalem included significant regions such as Judea and Samaria, where we observed the employment opportunities that Israelis provide to Palestinians, fostering prosperity and collaboration amidst ongoing tensions.

In Metula, we witnessed the devastating impact of Hezbollah terrorists, whose missile strikes have displaced countless residents and created an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty.

Exploring Historical and Modern Struggles: A Journey Through Israel's Sacred and Lands
We also visited Capernaum, the hometown of Yeshua, and Bethsaida, the historical home of Peter, James, John, and Andrew by the serene Lake of Galilee. These sites are not just landmarks; they are integral to the narrative of our faith and history. In the Golan Heights, we heard firsthand accounts from local residents regarding Hezbollah's atrocities against Druze families, which underscored the harsh realities faced by many in the region. Our journey concluded near the Gaza border, specifically at Nir Oz Kibbutz, where Hamas committed horrific acts against Israeli families, leaving a trail of sorrow and loss. We also visited the site of the Nova Music Festival, where many young lives were tragically lost, a stark reminder of the ongoing violence and its impact on innocent lives. Despite these barbaric attacks, it is disheartening to witness the global response turning against Israel, with the nation facing a media war despite winning ground battles.
Promoting Truth and Solidarity: Insights from the Summit on Israel's Struggles and the Role of Educating South Sudan Sudanese Christian Youth about Israel
The Summit concluded at the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where we emphasized the critical need for attendees from over 50 countries to share the truth about Israel's struggles and the dangers posed by Hamas. It is imperative that we educate our communities about the aggressors, namely Hamas and the Iranian regime, and not fall victim to the false narratives that are often propagated. Furthermore, it is crucial to educate the Christian youth in South Sudan, especially within our school, to foster their appreciation for Israel and its historical significance. Israel is the custodian of Biblical history, and Yeshua the Messiah was Jewish. This truth must be articulated clearly to counter the false narratives spread by Palestinian Arabs and others who seek to distort the historical record. At the BNPA graduation ceremony, we took the opportunity to highlight our experiences from the CMS-GPO Summit, aiming to inspire South Sudanese youth, parents, security officials, local government representatives, media, and churches. By sharing these insights, we hope to encourage a deeper understanding of the complex issues at play and to foster a sense of solidarity with those who strive for peace and justice in the region. Together, we can build a future grounded in knowledge, compassion, and a commitment to the truth.
