Today, I want to share with you very brief mission report and in need of your prayers and encouragement. As our valuable co-laborer and as the Lord leads you to pray for ONMI, I truly ask you to join us to close the gap in our quest to raise the support for ONMI for October 2022. Our goal is to cut into half the budget of October 2022 raise $35,000 by October 15 in order of priorities. So far, we received pledges for $10,000. The scope of this request to you, our valuable supporter is praying that this gift will be matched for this effort to meet the most pressing need of the ministry in the field and here in the US main office: Main office - $15, 000, Field office - $20,000 by October 15.
Pray that God can match this gift and double it as He sees fit. There is nothing hard for him. You are not only our financial donor to ONMI, but also a prayer warrior and co-laborer in the Great Commission. Yesterday, I received a call from ONMI country director that ONMI’s 5-year-old backhoe incurred serious mechanical breakdown in the middle of clearing the farmland land. We need to fix it as soon as possible to get it right back to work. Without this backhoe, it could have been impossible to launch all of ONMI’s life changing projects on the ground including Bethlehem Primary school building. You can keep all of this in your prayers.
Writing to you about these needs facing ONMI, Iam also mindful and prayerful of your own financial predicament during this deliberate attempt by the current Administration in the White House to plunge the country into economic Recession.
In the day of Prophet Elijah, the Widow of Zarephath and the Ravens
We are praying for you too, your family and finances as well during this trying times as we serve a Living God and provider of all things. It is imperative and spiritually and biblically speaking to conclude that the USA. under this administration looks clearly as if we are living in the era of King Ahab, the wicked king of Israel in the day of Prophet Elijah, the Widow of Zarephath and the Ravens. The lesson we can all draw from that situation was the power of prayers and the faith of Prophet Elijah to restore the rain after 3 and half years and had King Ahad humbled. 1 Kings 17-18. With God all things are possible.
" And Elijah said to Ahab, “Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain.” So, Ahab went off to eat and drink, but Elijah climbed to the top of Carmel, bent down to the ground, and put his face between his knees.43 “Go and look toward the sea,” he told his servant. And he went up and looked. “There is nothing there,” he said. Seven times Elijah said, “Go back.” The seventh time the servant reported, “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea. “So, Elijah said, “Go and tell Ahab, ‘Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.’ 1 Kings 18: 42-44
