At first, it was hand to mouth subsistence farming but now...

Shalom to you brother and sisters in Yeshua, here is the progression of ONMI's mission ability to establish food security for its staff, families, students and the community. This is happening because of your generous Support and encouragement to Operation Nehemiah Missions in strengthening food security in South Sudan.

ONMI's on the ground Country Director Pastor Timothy Levi want to convey his appreciation to you all for making all this effort possible. He said, the primary goal for food security is to grow food to sustain food supply for the immediate community all around. But this Good work and effort they have made since moving to South Sudan at the beginning of 2021 is truly making a difference. . I am so grateful to God for what He has done. Through our /your prayers, tenacity, commitment, God is showing to us that we are indeed sitting on the bountiful treasure of the land of South Sudan. In the past, families and the community had to scramble in gathering the little money they had, rushed to the to border market of Elegu to buy these very farm produce from Ugandans. It was not that cheap then you have to drive or find transportation to go back 40 miles north to your home. they have to do this every two -3 three days. This was a daily struggle for the community.

But with your support, ONMI has kept its focus on encouraging staff and community to appreciate the potentials of the land of South Sudan and create entrepreneurial mindset and tap the resources of the land to create stable food security. We are at the threshold of creating stable food security .

At first, we were doing just hand to mouth production in the farm. But the demand for food security couldn't be sustained on subsistence cultivation considering the demand and supplies for food in the region. Forward to 2021, we are now just standing amazed watching this video and the produce from the farmland stretching from Bethlehem to Beth Israel Farmland is truly great. This is steady hand kept to the plow. Brother Otim Festo is truly sent by God to lift up our hand for this good work to establish food security.

Deut 30:9 says, "Then the LORD your God will make you most prosperous in all the work of your hands and in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your land. The LORD will again delight in you and make you prosperous, just as he delighted in your ancestors,"

Now it is imperative to say " Elders who lead effectively are worthy of double honor, especially those who work hard at preaching and teaching. For the Scripture says, “ Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain,” and, “The worker is worthy of his wages.” Iam grateful to see these pastors have banded together in obedience to God in shepherding the flock and as well as meeting the physical needs of their community through agriculture .

Chana Oz, Israel TPS News - International Relationship Director, shared with us on NTCBN Live Streaming weekly news from Jerusalem, updates on water security. When you follow the MSM, everything you hear about Israel is negative. BDS, (Boycotting, Divesting and Sanctioning) Israeli products from Judea and Samaria tend to dominate the news and that is all they want you to hear. But now with NTCBN weekly updates, you can get to hear directly from Israelis what is happening in the Holy Land.

Israel is a leader in cutting edge technology in the field of water technology. They have turned the Negev desert green, used Lake Galilee to irrigate the land and turn it green. Israel has technology that turn salty water of Mediterranean Sea to soft portable water and it has the the ability to capture water out of thin air.

Israel is now supplying countries in Africa, the Middle East and even here in the USA, they have just provided Navaho Indians with water to meet the need of 10,000 people in the state of Arizona.

In this presentation she discuss the potential and possibilities of using Israel water technology to set up reservoirs throughout South Sudan to address the Crisis of nomadic cattle owners roaming about in search of water for their livestock. This effort will keep the tribes from raiding each other's cattle which result into massive intermural fighting and constant conflicts with farmers who do not own cows but cattle destroy their Lively hood because it destroys the farmlands.
