ONMI mission update from the last one
Shalom,
Thank you for your faithful prayers and support of Operation Nehemiah and our ongoing work in South Sudan.
Psalms 127 declares “Unless the Lord build the house, they that build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord keeps the city, the watchmen wakes in vain”. It is our fervent prayer that we will continually commit the work of the ministry to the Lord, waiting in faith for Him to give the increase in all of our labors.
We are preparing for our annual family mission trip to South Sudan this May/June. 2019.
There are quite a few details still to put in place, along with spiritual preparation for fruitful ministry in the field. Please keep us in prayer.
NRB Conference Anaheim, CA
We are also planning to attend the annual National Religious Broadcasting (NRB) conference in Anaheim, CA from March 25- 29th. The goal of attending the NRB Proclaim 2019 is to give ONMI a greater annual presentation to the body of Christ across the USA. It helps us build support, relationship and prayer partnership with various Christians communities in the Gospel Broadcasting industry.
$78,000 received to purchase a CASE Backhoe & Front Loader! Prayer answered!!
In our last update we asked you to join us in prayer for this equipment to help us in clearing land for agricultural development and food security. We are now anticipating clearing 50 acres more in 2019 and a number of construction projects, creating an atmosphere of Christian entrepreneurial spirit and self-governance. Thank you
Field transportation needed: Join us in prayer for this effort. Vehicle needed on the ground before the end of April
We are currently working on raising $35,000 by April to purchase a 13 passenger Toyota hardtop vehicle to transport our family, visiting missionaries, field staff and materials for evangelistic/medical outreaches in remote villages, where the roads are extremely difficult to travel. This vehicle is available in Juba, South Sudan right now. !!
Current activities at the Beth Israel farmland:
Our farm team thanks you for your financial support and prayer which helped them in getting the field ready for plantation. As the rainfalls begin this April, they will be planting seeds and tending seedlings. The arrival of the backhoe/front loader will help them move forward in rapidly clearing more land for plantation this year.
Lightening Arrestor for Broadcasting equipment:
This week, our field staff installed a lightening arrestor at the base of our 300ft tower, securing the solar panels , transmitter wires, and other broadcasting equipment from damaging lightening strikes.
Remaining Mission Budget:

From March - April : $65,000
