Shalom to you brothers and sisters in Yeshua. Welcome to Passover and Resurrection weekend.
Messianic believers commemorate the death and resurrection of Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah during Passover Week annually. We discuss the crucifixion on the Shabbat preceding Passover and the resurrection on the Shabbat following it.

Israel, God's Gift to the world. News above all News: Israel's Role in Divine Revelation and Redemption
Despite Israel being a constant focus in global news, often from liberal, anti-Semitic mainstream media, there is no better news that Israel can offer to a world that has often opposed her than this. At a time when the world was engulfed in the darkness of evil and sin, following the Fall of mankind, and humanity worshipped creation instead of God the Creator, God revealed Himself to humanity through Israel, the descendants of Abraham. God used the land of Israel as a platform and a landing strip to bring the Bible and the Messiah to the world to redeem the Adam's Race from the fall." Messianic Rabbi William Levi
The anticipated "seed " was described as both human and divine. This promised seed needed to be both God and man. He was to be human to serve as the "seed" of the woman (Genesis 3:15), of Abraham (Genesis 15:4; 22:15-18), and of David (2 Samuel 7:12-16). He also needed to be divine to fulfill the prophecies about Him:
For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).
“But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Too little to be among the clans of Judah, From you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His goings forth are from long ago, From the days of eternity” (Micah 5:2).
For the "seed" to be both God and man, a very supernatural birth was necessary. The prophet Isaiah predicted this miraculous birth:
“Therefore, the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel” (Isaiah 7:14).
(4) The coming "seed" was to be a victorious king and yet also a suffering servant. Jesus was to be both the "lion" of the tribe of Judah (see Genesis 49:9; Revelation 5:5) and the "lamb" who takes away the sins of the world (see Isaiah 53:5-7; John 1:29; Revelation 5:6, 8, 12). As the King, He will rule over all people and triumph over His enemies:
Best News USA: Restoring Judeo-Christian Values Under President Trump's Leadership
Under President Trump, the United States is gradually returning to its core Judeo-Christian moral values, which set America apart as an exceptional nation, much like how Israel is regarded as a chosen nation by God. This shift is attributed to President Trump's initiatives to redefine the basis of American faith, family, and freedom by encouraging Americans to worship the God of Israel, rather than the Liberal Democrats, the Mainstream Media, or Academia. By supporting Israel, America receives blessings in return.
Times of Israel: 100 times President Trump supported Israel. "Sure, he moved the embassy to Jerusalem, paved the way for the Abraham Accord and recognized Golan sovereignty, but there's more. Much more
What is Messianic Passover:
Why do we, as followers of Yeshua, observe the Jewish holiday of Passover? • Passover serves as a precursor to future events. • God promised that through Abraham, He would bless all nations, and the Messiah would come from the nation of Israel; as believers in Yeshua, we are all descendants of Abraham. (Ex 12:3 & Gal 3:6-7) • We acknowledge that Yeshua is Jewish. • During Yeshua's last Passover, Matthew 26: 26. He instructed believers to observe the LORD's Supper in memory of His sacrificial death on the cross. • The Jewish Passover today still points to Yeshua in Messianic Kehillah, but Churches Passover celebration has become Holy Communion.
Messiah’s Resurrection Foretold in The Old Testament
Centuries before Jesus entered the stage of human history, the ancient prophets, inspired by God, wrote about the miraculous, life-changing event of the Messiah’s resurrection. Psalm 16 and Isaiah 53 were likely among the Scriptures Jesus referred to on that memorable day on the road to Emmaus, speaking to two downhearted disciples.
The Unity of Scripture: Old and New Testaments as One Revelation
The Old Testament is the New Testament revealed, the New Testament is Old Testament Concealed. Therefore, it is definitive to believe and accept that The Holy Bible represents the complete and infallible Counsel of God, as shown through scriptural evidence that God (Elohim), the Father, and the Son are One (Echad) from Genesis 1 to Revelation, 22 as we read in 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
We believe that the Bible, consisting of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is the only infallible and authoritative Word of God. We recognize its divine inspiration and accept its teachings as our final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
Resurrection and Judgement
What is the significance of Yeshua’s resurrection from the death for Jews and Gentiles?
Yeshua’s resurrection makes Him absolutely unique in the history of the world and puts him on a level far higher than any of the prophets of Israel or any other religion or any philosopher. Buddha is still in his tomb. Mohammed is still in his grave. Confucius is still dead. Marx, Lenin and Freud are still in their graves.
The Resurrection of Yeshua: God's Seal of Approval
Only Yeshua has been raised from death! Since God would never allow a liar, a deceiver, or a false Messiah to be resurrected, Yeshua’s resurrection validates His person, His ministry and His message. His resurrection is God’s seal of approval on everything that Yeshua did and taught, and God’s declaration to the world that Yeshua is Messiah and Savior of mankind. Therefore, we ought to pay attention to every word He uttered, since He spoke the truth without any error.
History tells us that only one man – Yeshua of Nazareth – fulfilled these prophecies and many others. No other man in history even comes close. The probability that one person could fulfill all these prophecies by chance is infinitesimally small. There is only one rational conclusion: Yeshua is the Messiah of Israel whom the prophets told us to expect.
We believe in the resurrection on both the redeemed and the lost; the former to everlasting life and the latter to eternal separation from God, a state of everlasting punishment. His promised coming in the air to receive Messianic Believers to Himself. In the bodily resurrection of both the just and the unjust: the just to everlasting life and the unjust to eternal death and separation from God.(Job 14:14) (Job 19:25-27) (Dan. 12:2-3) (John 3:36) (John 11:25-26) (Rev. 20-5-6, 10-15) (Rev. 21:7-8)
ONMI's Mission report from South Sudan April 2025.
Empowering Future Pastors: Fulfilling the Great Commission Through Training and Community Engagement
As we celebrate the profound significance of Passover alongside the Resurrection of Yeshua, it is important to reflect on the transformative message that this season embodies. ONMI's dedicated ground staff is fully prepared and committed to fulfilling the Great Commission that was entrusted to the disciples by Yeshua following His death and miraculous resurrection. This commission, a cornerstone of Christian faith, calls upon believers to go forth and make disciples of all nations, teaching them to observe everything that Yeshua commanded. This includes the important directive that those who come to believe must be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, symbolizing their commitment to a new life in faith and community.
Empowering Future Pastors: Nile Beth Israel's Initiative for Ministry Training
The Nile Beth Israel Messianic Kehillah is currently engaged in an essential initiative focused on pastoral training. This program aims to raise up four dedicated pastors who will be equipped to minister the word of God with clarity and passion in various regions, including Yambio in Western Equatoria, as well as in Bethlehem, Kerepi, and Nimule in Eastern Equatoria, extending even into northern Uganda. The training process is designed to empower these future leaders with the theological knowledge, practical skills, and spiritual insight necessary for effective ministry. By investing in the next generation of pastors, we are not only strengthening local congregations but also fostering a vibrant community of faith that can reach out to those in need and spread the message of hope and redemption that Yeshua offers.
Through these efforts, we aim to cultivate a deeper understanding of the Scriptures among the congregants and enhance their ability to share the Gospel in their respective communities. The pastoral training encompasses various aspects, including biblical literacy, sermon preparation, leadership development, and community engagement strategies. This holistic approach ensures that the pastors are well-rounded and capable of addressing the diverse challenges faced by their communities, thus enabling them to be effective shepherds in a world that is often fraught with uncertainty and despair. As we move forward in this mission, we are reminded of the importance of unity and collaboration within the body of believers, as we work together to fulfill the Great Commission and make a lasting impact for the Kingdom of God.
If you feel guided by the Lord to contribute to this cause, ONMI's budget for the Great Commission this month is $15,000. This amount will assist at least 7 Kehillahs in training pastors, constructing worship centers, and conducting evangelistic outreach. Donation can be at www.operationsnehemiah.org
ONMI Medical's Commitment to Combating Tropical Diseases in South Sudan
ONMI Medical department has been actively engaged in addressing the pressing medical needs of the community in South Sudan, particularly in the fight against the rampant tropical diseases that have affected many lives in the region. Our dedicated medical staff work tirelessly to deliver effective results, providing essential care and treatment to those who need it most. They are not only skilled professionals but also compassionate individuals who understand the unique challenges faced by the local population. Their commitment goes beyond mere medical assistance; they strive to educate the community about disease prevention and health promotion, ensuring that individuals are equipped with the knowledge to protect themselves and their families.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our supporters who have played a crucial role in replenishing our medical departments. Your generosity has allowed us to enhance our capabilities and reach more patients than ever before. However, the need for resources continues to grow as we aim to expand our services and improve the quality of care we provide. Currently, we are seeking to raise $10,000 specifically for the acquisition of an X-ray machine. This vital equipment will significantly enhance our diagnostic capabilities, allowing us to identify and treat various conditions more effectively. With the implementation of advanced imaging technology, we will be able to detect issues that may not be visible through standard examinations, ultimately leading to better patient outcomes.
If the Lord leads you to support this critical effort, we invite you to consider contributing to our cause. Your support will not only help us secure the X-ray machine but also empower our medical team to save lives and improve health in our community. Together, we can make a meaningful impact in the fight against tropical diseases and ensure that the residents of South Sudan receive the medical care they deserve. Thank you for your continued support and belief in our mission.
Polytechnic Institute Launches Diverse Skill-Based Programs for Career Readiness
Polytechnic Institute officially commenced its academic activities on March 15. This institution offers a diverse range of programs across several faculties, including Information Technology (IT), Tailoring and Beauty Salon, Agriculture, Welding, Theology, and Electrical Engineering. Each of these faculties is designed to equip students with practical technical skills that are essential for earning a sustainable livelihood in today’s competitive job market. Students are not only gaining theoretical knowledge but are also engaging in hands-on training that prepares them for real-world challenges in their respective fields.
The institute recognizes the importance of providing a holistic educational experience, which includes practical workshops, industry exposure, and mentorship opportunities. By focusing on skill acquisition, Nehemiah Polytechnic Institute aims to empower students to become self-sufficient and contribute positively to their communities. The curriculum is tailored to meet the current demands of the job market, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared to enter the workforce with confidence and competence.
To maintain its operations and continue providing quality education, the institute requires a minimum of $14,000 per term. This funding is crucial for various aspects of the institution, including the maintenance of facilities, procurement of modern equipment, and the hiring of qualified instructors who are passionate about teaching. Additionally, these funds will support the development of new programs and resources that enhance the learning environment for both students and teachers.
Investing in the institute not only benefits the students directly involved but also has a broader impact on the local community. Improved living conditions for students and faculty on campus will foster a more conducive learning environment, encouraging academic excellence and personal growth. Furthermore, as students graduate and enter the workforce, they will bring their skills back to their communities, thereby contributing to local economies and improving overall quality of life.
In conclusion, the financial support needed by Nehemiah Polytechnic Institute is critical for its sustainability and growth. By contributing to this initiative, stakeholders can play a significant role in shaping the future of aspiring professionals who are eager to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others around them.
Advancing Food Security Through Innovative Drip Irrigation Practices
Food security for long-term sustainability remains our top priority, as we recognize that ensuring a consistent and reliable food supply is essential for the well-being of our community and the environment. At the beginning of February, we commenced our dry season cultivation using advanced drip irrigation techniques. This innovative approach allows us to grow food throughout the year, significantly reducing our reliance on imported produce from across the border. The efforts we have invested in this initiative are truly bearing fruit; as you can see, our drip irrigation initiative is making remarkable progress, showcasing the potential of sustainable agricultural practices. Around this time each year, it has been common to witness a scarcity of green vegetables, with few options available for harvesting. However, thanks to our dedicated drip irrigation initiatives, we are proud to say that this year, the landscape is vibrant with flourishing crops. The introduction of this technology has not only improved our yield but has also enhanced the quality of the produce, allowing us to provide fresh, nutritious food to our community.
Overcoming Mango Harvest Challenges: A Vision for Sustainable Growth
Currently, we are in the midst of mango season, a time of great joy and celebration as we begin harvesting these delicious fruits. It fills our hearts with happiness to see that the mango trees we planted just about four years ago are now yielding an abundant harvest. The sheer volume of mangoes produced this season is overwhelming, and it is a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in this project. However, we face a challenge: many of the mangoes are falling to the ground and rotting because we do not yet have the facilities to process them adequately. Looking ahead, we are excited about the prospect of establishing a mango processing factory next year. This initiative will not only allow us to handle the overwhelming mango production but will also create job opportunities within our community and contribute to local economic growth. Our agricultural budget currently stands at $5,000, and we are actively seeking support to make this vision a reality. If the Lord leads you to assist us with this important initiative, we kindly invite you to donate at www.operationsnehemiah.org. Your generosity will play a crucial role in helping us achieve food security and sustainability for our community.
