Work has begun to restore Nehemiah Bridge expeditiously
Shalom, how can we thank God enough for you and your generosity and prayers. Thanksgiving is truly a remarkable day set apart in this nation to thank God for the vision He has bestowed upon the Pilgrims 400 years ago to date coming here to North America from UK seeking religious freedom. This is what American exceptionalism is all about. On October 3, 1863, at the height of a civil war which ultimately decided whether the Union of this nation would stand, " Expressing gratitude for a pivotal Union Army victory at Gettysburg, President Abraham Lincoln announces that the nation will celebrate an official Thanksgiving holiday on November 26, 1863. Yesterday, President Trump reaffirmed and echoed President Lincoln's declaration on the the significance of Thanksgiving:
" Thanksgiving Day, we thank God for the abundant blessings in our lives. As we gather with family and friends to celebrate this season of generosity, hope, and gratitude, we commemorate America’s founding traditions of faith, family, and friendship, and give thanks for the principles of freedom, liberty, and democracy that make our country exceptional in the history of the world."
From this end, my family and I want to thank you again on Thanksgiving holiday of 2020.
Mission field updates: On behalf of your brothers and sisters in South Sudan ( in Truth and Spirit,) I want to thank you all for your generosity. They said to convey this warm gratitude to you that they are graciously thankful to God on your account. They are gleaning the benefit of American Thanksgiving Holiday and praying for America during this turbulence Election and Covid 19 in the year 2020.
Nehemiah Bridge work has just begun.
Just last week, I shared with you a sobering news. Operation Missions lost the only bridge ( Nehemiah Eyibi Bridge) connecting road to the farmland to a relentless torrent of rainfall that eroded the river bank, took out the stone column underneath and washed out the bridge. This report touched your hearts, you joined us in prayers and took a decisive action and raised $6000 in 24 hours period. The fund went out to South Sudan right away to take care of rebuilding effort.
Today, on Thanksgiving Day, I am very thrilled to report to you, work has already began to restore the bridge thank to the professionalism and dedication of our field staff headed by our Country Director Pastor Timothy Levi. All hands to the Deck. The bridge work will be completed expeditiously.
These raw pictures from the field convey a message to us here in the USA that contrary to what you are told by the media, South Sudanese are not lazy people. They can work if they are given proper tools to work with but not just handout. Global NGOs proxy to the UN will tell you they want to raise millions of dollars to buy food and handout food rations to the people or else millions will die this year or next year. In Operation Nehemiah Missions, we tell you the truth, give us the tools we will do the job and no one should die of starvation under our watch.
You see this equipment being used here, these equipment is not rented or leased to us to do this work. Some of the equipment were purchased back in 2011 like this dump truck here and the Backhoe in 2019 through your benevolent gifts to Operation Nehemiah . We are taking care of them through challenging times even as getting parts could be difficult. Nevertheless, God wants us to be good steward of the things he entrusted to us through your generosity.
In South Sudan, which is a new country with no infrastructure what so ever, it is very hard to separate the scope of our first priority which is the Great Commission from the technical and engineering and entrepreneurial challenges, which are very pivotal to establish crucial infrastructure of this organization to advance the great Commission.
Tackling major infrastructure
With your help and prayer support we are able to achieve these goals. There are a lot to do in the farm to generate food and cut down food import from Uganda. So how do we do this.? We roll our sleeves and get to work. We need road to get from point A to point B. What do you do about that? Again with your help we are able to open up roads through wilderness with bare minimum tool beating down the trail to put up roads to connect remote villages. Community in need of water, we don't wait for the UN or the government to do it. With your help, we drilled wells in the villages to help thousands of people to get clean water. Nearest medical facility is 50 miles away. With your help, we see opportunity and put a field clinic to address the need of the community medically. This is not to mention Christian conservative radio station, church planting, raising up local pastors, family restoration and entrepreneurial venture to help the stand on their feet.
Prayer for USA: Pray for the State Legislatures of states of : PA, MI, GA, WI, MI, NV and AZ and President Trump's Legal team for Courage and clarity in educating Americans about the unfolding interpretation of the law under constitution. The media and the Courts do not pick the President.
Thank you for your prayer for American Election results. Thus far we know, it is not over but things are moving in the right direction . The ultimate winner is still up in the air but we know who won this election. Correct and honest remedy is needed to turn things around. This nation can't settle for a fraudulent Presidency. President Trump and his legal team are doing the right thing under the constitution of this nation playing by the rules. States Legislatures in the 6 contested swing States are now put to task to do their job. Some of them at the PA State Senate hearing seems to be for the first time understanding their role and the role of the governor and the secretary of state in respect to certification of an election results and the electors in respect to the interpretation of the 12 Amendment and article 1 and 2.
