God did it: Where is the water? They asked. The river bed is dry, yet 8o got baptized.

Shalom Brothers and Sister, I want to express my deepest gratitude to all the fathers and grandfathers on Father's Day. You are men who have become an integral part of ONMI mission in South Sudan and your effort has brought so many souls to Salvation in Yeshua. As a father of 8 children myself, I want to thank God for entrusting me with these precious lives he given us to disciple and raise them up for his Glory. However I couldn't wait to share with you the might power of Living God in True Testimonies, Miracle of today that on the same day as we celebrate Father's Day, here in America, God also brought in 80 Spiritual children to Salvation. These are your brothers and sisters not born of flesh and blood but of Spirit and truth in Yeshua. " Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God." John 1: 12-13

You see this water here in this river, it was not there on Saturday, June 19 .

In Bethlehem, Kerepi EE State South Sudan, we have seen a miracle of God in the process of get 80 people get Baptized . Is there anything hard for him? Jeremiah 32. The just shall walk by faith. Romans 4:17-18. As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not.

Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be."

The Nile Beth Israel Messianic Congregation at Bethlehem baptized 80 new believers who have given their lives to Yeshua since returning from Ugandan exile.

You see this water here in this river, it was not there yesterday. Pastor Timothy Levi said, the Baptism was scheduled for Sunday June 20th before the students leave for their holiday.

The River Bed was still dry 2 hours before Baptism

But River Eyibi did not have the water to conduct the baptism.

Yesterday, Saturday June 19. It was the last day to pray for the students before they were dispersed for holidays, no one expected rain in the month of June which usually comes and goes without rainfall. But a dark gathering cloud was looming on over the event.

The pastors, teachers, parents and children prayed to God to hold off the rain, if it is His will that the prayer event goes forward to see the children off. But if it is the will of God, let him allow the cloud to bring the down pour of rain and hold off the gathering.

They prayed and God answered their prayers

The Lord answered their prayers. He held off the rain and allow the event to proceed.

However, the River bed was still without water. That meant Baptism will not take place. For it to take place, the baptism has to be moved to Nimule 40 miles away or otherwise, they have to build a pool in the mission compound and fill it with water for conducting baptism. That effort will take time. So they did a very simple thing this morning before church service, they asked God to bring the rain back and fill the River bed.

He said, let them get prepared, God will provide the water

Pastor Timothy informed Paul, the associate pastor to inform the congregants to prepare for Baptism. Some were asking, where is the water? The river bed is dry. The event won't be postponed he said. They went to church, prayed and went home around 11 AM. Immediately the dark rainy cloud gathered and all over sudden, it started to rain. It rained so hard for 2 straight hours with the concentration within the radius of five miles around Bethlehem mission. After the rain stopped, it was about 3 PM and the river was filled with flowing water.

They headed straight to the River Bank

They quickly gathered all the baptismal candidates and the church to head straight to the river bank which is about 1/4 miles away. This is the a true miraculous even that took place today on Sunday June 20, 2021. God showed His mighty power over the rain to release it or hold it back to advance His kingdom on earth. 80 people were baptized. You cannot trick this up.! It is God's Sovereignty over all creation. An encouragement to those who obey God's promises through Prayers and a miracle to those who are still in their unbelief.

Miracles are still in Full Force even to day, for specific illustrations.

Miracles still happen as they did in the times of Yeshua on earth 2000 year ago chiefly to (a) encourage believers to pray and expect to see God's Glory and promises in action and (b) more importantly to help those in doubt Like Thomas and Martha to believe and remove their unbelief and get Salvation.

Yeshua to Martha

Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.”

When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out! "The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. He ordered to unwrapped him and let him go. John 11:43-44
