Contrasting of seasons: what is it like for Missionary family living on both sides of the spectrum.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Yeshua,

Shalom to you and your family. It has been a while since I have communicated to you at the beginning of February.

Contrasting of seasons and how does our missionary family who lives on both sides of the spectrum cope with it?

We are in the thickest of the New England Winter here in Western MA. Almost a week ago, a 69 Miles/hour wind blew through the Berkshire for the whole day. It went on knocking down trees and electrical power system on it's path through out the surrounding towns. We lost a giant pine tree at least 100 ft long to that dreadful windy day. God forbid, If it were to fall westward, it could have had come on the path of our home and demolish it. Fortunately, God sealed us from this. the trees instead fell on eastern direction without destroying power cable or blocking the road and no body was hurt and it caused no damage to our property. We have a lot of cleaning to do. This is one of the main reasons for us not to stage mission trip to South Sudan during this cold and unpredictable winter season. In our absence, anything could go wrong. However, we now preparing for a two months mission trip to South Sudan in May through June 2019. We will outline the scope of the trip in our next newsletter after giving you the mission report on the on going mission report.

This 100 Pine tree ( 2.5 ' ) diameter at the base came down so fast at the blink of an eye! The US flag is still standing right by it untouched,

In the South Sudan, right now there is a sustain three- four months of tropical dry season beginning December through March. It is very hot and dry.

While we are in the thickest of the New England's coldest winter season with the snow blanketing the entire region, here in Western MA, USA, it is a different climatic condition in Eastern Equatoria, South Sudan. Operation Nehemiah Mission's staff are in the thickest of a very dry tropical season and battling wildfire and trying to implement projects in the midst of a 90- 100 degree temperature. Currently our field staff is largely concern about laying fire lines around mission properties, homes and farm land from been destroyed by wild fire and implementing critical projects that will propel us into 2019 . What a contrast.? The God we serve is an awesome God. He creates the universe and balances the seasons an the time on planet earth.

Projects are coming right a long. We are getting feedback from the field.

I could not thank God enough for your prayers and support for helping us close the gap in our 2018-2019 budgetary initiative. At Operation Nehemiah Missions, we endeavor want to be good stewards of the Lord resources which He has raised through your effort. Our desire is to count the cost of the Great Commission, living within our means, by faith and operating the ministry, debt free by making the most out of little. In other word, we want to operate under budget yet delivering maximum result at the mission base here at the States side and as well as in the mission field in South Sudan.

Project implementation has begun to take hold. Here is the first one. Beth Israel farmland has restored its water system.

I have been waiting for the pictures and implementation of these pivotal projects from our field staff based on the fund which was sent out in January and February 2019. The first raw pictures of repairing the water at the Beth Israel Farmland has just arrived this afternoon. The solar well at the Beth Israel farmland is so critical for supplying water to the farm house as well as for watering new plants whic were planted back in autumn 2018.

Daily Broadcasting over the airwaves of South Sudan & Northern Uganda from my office in Lanesborough MA 6500 miles away.

I have the honor to teach on NTC. 97.3 FM on daily bases over the airwaves of South Sudan and northern Ugandan from my home office here in MA into a radio station located 6,500 miles away at the ONMI's Yerushalayam Mission center on Gordon MT in South Sudan. Currently I'm teaching from the book of Nehemiah going from chapter by chapter. Our ministry is name after Nehemiah. In the Bible, the book of Ezra and Nehemiah play pivotal role in the biblical History that lay the foundation of the significant meaning of the reason why God Chose Jerusalem as a city unto himself on earth in its relationship to the New Jerusalem to come. The prophetic significance of the historical work of these two men in their effort to rebuild the temple, Jerusalem and its walls have its fulfillment and reverberation through out the New Testaments ( The Gospels, the Epistles, the Apostles, Hebrews and Revelation) ,

The Biblical history from the Old Testament perspectives is pivotal for our leadership to learn and grow in our own spiritual training.

As leaders of Operation Nehemiah Mission, we must avail ourselves in guiding the flock in sound biblical doctrine to help our ground Pastoral leadership to stand on the same principle to defend the faith from those who have conducted false teachings… 1 Timothy 6: 3- 7 teaches that “ If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strife’s of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmising, Perverse disputing of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can care nothing out.” 1 Timothy 6:3

Prayer needs.
