Nehemiah Bridge over River Eyibi is now fixed. Thank You all for your support

04/23/2016

Shalom! I am excited to share these pictures of the completed bridge project which just came in this morning from South Sudan. You may remember that back in November 2015, a vehicle belonging to the South Sudan military accidentally destroyed a portion of the Nehemiah Bridge over River Eyebi which was built in 2004. This is the only bridge which connects several villages to the Beth Israel farmland where we grow food to sustain the region. Since then, with your financial blessing, we have been working hard to restore the bridge. What the enemy meant for destruction, God used for our blessing and His glory. The new bridge turned out far better than what it was before. Romans 8: 28. As I shared in our last report, the typical news coming out of South Sudan reflects the godless worldview of the United Nations. Operation Nehemiah sheds light on hopeful role that ordinary South Sudanese families and the churches are playing in the rebuilding of the Republic of South Sudan on Biblical principles.

Thank-you so much for your prayers and support of this important aspect of our ministry's agricultural department!

Prayer need: You are welcome to sow into our ministry financially and prayerfully.

Our annual family mission trip is coming right up on May 1st. we will be accompanied on this trip by Miss. Katharine Saunders, and Greg and Lis Rosenquist. We are asking for your prayers and financial support toward the mission as the Lord leads. This upcoming trip will be the longest mission that we have conducted thus far.

We still need to raise $20,000 between April 22 and May 1, 2016 to help with the work on the ground. All your contributions are tax deductible. Online donations can be made at operationsnehemiah.org.

"Now my the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. " Heb. 13:20-21.
