Shalom to you my brothers and Sisters in Yeshua. We wish you a blessed Rosh Hashanah 2019. Thank you so much for upholding my family and Operation Nehemiah Missions in your prayers. We thank you for your continuous prayers and support. My family is hard pressed on all sides but not Crushed. God uses us for His mission in our weakness in His own Strength so that we may not boast in anything. Such has been our trials lately. We see His hand turning impossibility to possibilities. His promises never fail.. He has brought us this far by faith and won't turn us back. Is there a time you ever felt like Job? God is faithful he will bring to completion that which Has begun in our lives. Thank you so much for helping us overcome financial challenges in September as we roll into October. Your contribution and encouragement is very significant for us to continue this work. I need you to cover my family in your prayers. Our daughter Hadassah has a serious pain in the lining of her intestine that we could not figure out even in the midst of numerous testing that has been done so far
This scripture holds the true for us in this work we are doing "Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God. And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,”[a] made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ. But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed."
Overall, we are pressing on in the mist of intense spiritual trial in our lives here at home and as well as in South Sudan. The scriptures tell us when we go through trials of this magnitude we should not be surprised why it happens to us and why we go through fiery trials.?

Significant of Rosh Hashanah, from The Old to the New Testament. As You Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem, Jesus is our true Rosh Hashanah. Remember that!
Observing Rosh Hashanah . As the book of Nehemiah relates: The Joy of the Lord is My strength, Nehemiah 8: 10
Jesus often taught about things that relate strongly to Rosh Hashanah themes. In his parables, he sometimes depicted God as an employer who demands an accounting (Matthew 25:14–30; Luke 16; 19:11–27). He spoke often about the harvest in terms of human souls (Matthew 13, Luke 8), and he referred to dividing between who is spiritually fruitful and who is not (Matthew 7:15–20; 12:33–45; 25:31–46; Luke 6:43–45).
Rosh Hashanah is predicate for Repentance and Jesus second coming. The “book of life” in which our names and deeds are recorded is one of the main symbols of Rosh Hashanah. The New Testament also talks about this (Luke 10:20; Philippians 4:3; many places in Revelation). It also talks about the record of our debt due to our sins, which was canceled and forgiven through Messiah (Colossians 2:14). It speaks of our sins being “blotted out”—that is, erased—through repentance, which implies that they were once written down (Acts 3:19).The New Testament also often speaks of the shofar (the trumpet). In Matthew 24:31, this accompanies the gathering of the elect. In 1 Corinthians 15:52 and 1 Thessalonians 4:16 it announces the resurrection from the dead. In Revelation 8–9 it accompanies judgments on the earth. All of these are Rosh Hashanah themes.
