Our short mission trip August 27- September 8 The Living God we serve is Sovereign. My father in law Mr. Robert Kirkman and I left for the South Sudan on August 27th with new radio equipment to replace those destroyed by the fire. Arriving on the ground on August 30th, our ground team wasted no time getting the equipment ready for installation on the next day. Thanks to invaluable technical support from Galcom International, every single piece of equipment we brought from the USA and Canada was correct, putting to rest our worries that certain pieces might have been the wrong connections. I wish you could have seen the joy on the faces of our team!
The Team Leader: Self-taught FM radio engineer, turned country Director of Operation Nehemiah. Timothy Levi, (right) our Country Director, is a self - taught FM broadcasting engineer. Over the years, he trained himself in the use of FM broadcasting equipment, and he has also trained many of our staff working in the broadcasting department. Today, this indigenous team manages the entire NTC 97.3 FM broadcasting station. Working with their own hands is bearing fruit. From engineering and administration to daily programming, their effectiveness has been proven. It is our long held vision to train the South Sudanese nationals to practice biblical stewardship and accountability and become leaders in their families, churches, and communities.
