Dear Friends and Co-laborers in the Great Commission,

Shalom! Greetings to you in the name of our precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His mercies are indeed new every morning, and His steadfast love never fails!

Jemimah Laura RoseLevi FamilyIt is with great joy and thanksgiving that I announce the birth of our third daughter and fourth child, Jemimah Laura Rose. She was born on the morning of April 2nd, and weighed a healthy 8 lbs. 1 oz. Hannah is recovering well, and Jemimah is a very content, peaceful child.

Her siblings are delighted with her arrival! We praise God for adding to our family and pray that we will be diligent to raise Jemimah for His glory.

The progress taking place in New Sudan is strengthening each day, as the Lord continues to open broad doors for ministry and development. Nehemiah Health ClinicThe Nehemiah Health Clinic is scheduled to open its doors in early June, and we have been praying for a steady supply of medicine and vaccines to be provided. We were amazed to receive the answer to that prayer recently, when a medical ministry based in Wisconsin contacted us and offered over 12 million dollars worth of pharmaceuticals and clinic supplies! Lord willing, this donation will enable us to operate the field clinic continually for many years to come, without the interruptions that often result from a lack of basic supplies. We only need an additional $9,000 to complete the interior with plumbing and electrical work. Hallelujah!

Radio TowerI am also excited to report that the construction of our 300ft radio tower for Nehemiah Trumpet Call 97.3 FM Gospel radio in Nimule, South Sudan has commenced. A new 6 bay radio antenna will strengthen our current signal significantly and will boost the current transmitter power to cover a listening area of over 100 miles. Over 500,000 people both in South Sudan and northern Uganda will be reached by this radio station. The Body of Christ all across America raised a total of $75,000 dollars for this project through VCY America, a conservative Christian radio station. We are truly humbled by their generosity and love for their Brethren in New Sudan.

Heavy Duty Transport VehicleOur Repatriation Program has been in need of a heavy duty transport vehicle since the program was launched, and it took us over a year of searching to locate the right truck for the job. The Lord providentially provided a five ton refurbished military truck through the generosity of the ProVision Foundation and Clark Truck Parts, based in West Virginia. We are also grateful for underwriting support from The Universal Aid Society and our local Church Body here in the Berkshires. The Truck is now en route to Southern Sudan and will arrive May 30th! The timing of its arrival will coincide with the resettling of another 156 South Sudanese Nationals who have been accepted into the program.

Summer Mission Trip

Please be in prayer for my upcoming trip to the field, scheduled for June 28th-July 14th. I will be accompany by a missionary well drilling expert, Mr. Chris Cutter, with the goal of drilling more wells for the community, among other projects. Last year Chris was unable to travel to New Sudan to help, but now it seems the Lord has made it possible for him to be of service to children and widows in the South Sudan. He called me recently and offered to donate his time for the project! God can truly do the impossible.

We need $35,000 dollars to accomplish the tasks at hand which will cover the on going work in the field over the summer, including our traveling expenses. By the grace of God, we hope to have 80% of the fund by June 15th. If you are able, would you consider sending a gift to help defray the costs involved?

I praise God for your faithful support and love for the persecuted Church. Your encouragement is saving the lives of so many. God bless you.In His service,

William Levi,
President & CEO

Hi William, What a very blessed man you are with such beautiful children!
I was wondering if Operation Nehemiah has any other advertising such as brochures etc? Or can I just print out the newsletter each time? Alot of Sudanese dont use the internet here and I’d like to keep them up-to-date.
    Claire.

  2. Hello Claire, this is William’s webmaster. In response to your request I have added a download link at the bottom of this post. The link will allow you to download an MS Word copy of this Newsletter. I hope this helps!

  3. Hi William. I just read your book and looked up your site. I am pilot with Africa Inland MIssion’s air wing, AIM AIR, based in Lokichoggio. I fly daily throughout South Sudan in support of Missionary work and Christian relief and development operations. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your story and was excited by God’s hand and provision in your life. I just wanted to make sure you are aware of our work and if there’s any way we can support your work in Sudan, please let me know. Our own AIM missionaries work mainly in Eastern Equatoria, and have just set up their Sudan HQ in Torit, so I fly in the Magwi area often. I am always glad to be able to make a small diversion to drop off supplies or pick up personnel in conjunction with other chartered flights. Please let me know if there’s any way we can be of assistance in your ministry!
    Your Brother,
    Jon Hildebrandt
