Crosstalk/VCY America perseveres with Operation Nehemiah in bringing hope and restoration to the People of South Sudan. Through the hard work and dedication of Brother Dr. Vic Eliason, the plight of the Sudanese Church and the vision of Operation Nehemiah have been brought to the attention of the American Church, and even the U.S. Congress. In 2003, VCY America has helped Operation Nehemiah Missions established the first ever Christian Gospel radio station, the Nehemiah Trumpet Call 97.3FM. This station came into existence in Borongole Beth Israel Magwi County, Eastern Equatoria State, South Sudan because of VCY’s efforts to help raise the fund in its entirety. In 2007, VCY America help Operation Nehemiah raised $75,000 to erect 300ft radio tower to improve the p broadcasting coverage of the Station. On this last mission trip, I saw a great harvest for Christ. People are hungry for God because they have nothing else to cling to. The Nehemiah Trumpet Call radio is a powerful force for the Gospel and life transformation among the growing population in the South Sudan. May all the glory go to God.
