Websters: The Levites Home Family Academy

The Levites family:
William Levi is  the Founder and President of Operation Nehemiah Missions since 1993. His beloved wife Hannah is a homemaker and a fulltime mother of our five precious children. He has  been running Operation Nehemiah fulltime since 1996.   He and his wife  run the ministry from their home office based in Lanesborough, Massachusetts. Their  major responsibilities involved implementation of the multigenerational vision for their family and the vision  of Operation Nehemiah in rebuilding the New Sudan in the areas of:
The Great Commission - Church planting, strengthening the family (raising up Godly men (husbands and fathers to be priests of their household, to provide and protect their families);  Gospel radio broadcasting- agriculture development, healthcare; family entrepreneurial initiatives.
They  conduct mission trip to the South Sudan regularly to monitor the on going work in the field.
Here in the States side, they update people through newsletters, videotapes, website, e-mails, book keeping, telephone calls and overseas correspondences with field staff. They  are actively involved in educating people here in the USA about the plight of the persecuted church in the South Sudan.
They are available for speaking engagements and interview in churches, schools, radios, press and television across the United States of America. This is the ways they mobilize people to pray for them  and financial resources to sustain the on going mission in the South Sudan.

As the Levite's family in Yeshua, they  do have priestly and pastoral calling in their  lives to advance the Great Commission. They believe that the Great Commission is not only out there overseas in places as far as the South Sudan... It is here in their community. It starts with them as individuals; it starts with them  as husbands and wives. It starts with them  as parents. they are simultaneously addressing the spiritual issues facing the families and the church breakdown in the Sudan and as well as here in the USA. They have been praying and desiring to establish family integrated ministry to implement the vision of Operation Nehemiah Missions in their rebuilding effort to restore the church and families of Yeshua in the Sudan and here in the USA.

As a husband, a father, a mission leader and as a wife and a mother  In order to be effective ambassador of Yeshua (Jesus Christ) in the Sudan or else where in the world, they must first be ambassadors of Yeshua in their own home and in their community here in the States.
Since 2002, the  family's dream to have a family integrated ministry came to pass. As a husband, a father and as an ambassador of Yeshua, William began managing Operation Nehemiah full time from home and have the ability to oversee the growth of his  new family and ministry growing together harmoniously. Hannah  relinquished her midwifery aspiration to devote her time as a full time wife and mother for our new growing family. They asked God to show them  how to live by example asthye implement and impart vision to the families in the USA and the Sudan that embody thier  commitment to restore the nation for God.

In various ways the Lord mercifully imparted a multi-generational vision to their family before they entered into marriage. They came to understand that it is God's will according to Hebrew Scriptures for the Gospel to be passed down and preserved through generational faithfulness and that His word contains all that is needed to equip them for this most excellent work. God used many of his Word in the scriptures which convict them  of their  carnal lifestyle and worldly thought patterns, which brought them  to a place of true repentance before the Lord blessed them  with their first born  and the rest of the children that followed after.
One essential foundation to their life here is that children are a blessed asset to family and ministry and not a hindrance to them. The world views children as a burdensome drain on resources and opportunities. They openly receive each child as a reward and a heritage from the Lord, irrespective of temporal circumstances. Psalm 127.

They  also believe that Deuteronomy 6 is implicit of a home centered life, where children are raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. This has led them to forsake the worldly wisdom that compels parents to surrender their children to "professionals" while they pursue their own personal agendas. they  reject the modern notion of "quality time" as a substitute for quantity time.
Their callings as fathers and mothers are only biblically effective when they are completely surrendered to them. They believe God has revealed this plainly, most notably in Malachi 4:6 and Titus chapter 2. Constant pursuits outside the home are nothing but an impediment to rich relationships with their children, whereby they  lead them to rich relationships with God. In the light of this, seven years ago, Hannah relinquished her midwifery studies soon after the birth of their first child and dedicated her entire energy to motherhood and homemaking.

After years of spending upwards of 10 or more hours a day with Operation Nehemiah, William  also realized His  first ministry and became the priest of his  own household. Reprioritizing his  daily activities now allows ample time for scripture reading, prayer, and time with his  wife, children and family worship. Their relationship with God is their  first ministry, their relationship with each other as husband and wife is second, the children are third, and Operation Nehemiah is fourth in line. In order that their family and ministry are not discredited, they  began to live on one income through the ministry of Operation Nehemiah.

God does not entrust the raising of children to the institutions of the state nor to the church, but to the family. Therefore it is incumbent upon them  to train them for the work of the Great Commission and to stand in the gates. Homeschooling is the only means by which they  can hope to do this.
WHY SHOULD

HAVE A GENERATIONAL VISION for our family and Operation Nehemiah?
1. It is God's design for the family. It is his perspective. (Deuteronomy 6,7)
2. God makes covenants with generations. (Adam, Noah, Abraham, etc.)
3. God desires godly seed; it is part of his plan for evangelism and the mission of Operation Nehemiah.
"Yet ye say, wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant. And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth" (Malachi 2:14, 15).

. God cleanses the bloodline of His people.
"And now, please let the power of the Lord be great as you have promised, saying, 'The LORD is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, forgiving iniquity and transgression, but he will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, to the third and the fourth generation.' Please pardon the iniquity of this people, according to the greatness of your steadfast love, just as you have forgiven this people, from Egypt until now" (Numbers 14:17-19).
We are to be sent out as shining lights in this world.
"Do all things without grumbling or questioning, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain" (Philippians 2:13-16).

HAVING A MULTI-GENERATIONAL VISION FOR YOUR FAMILY
Psalm 128:1-6-"Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in his ways! You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table. Behold, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the LORD. The LORD bless you from Zion! May you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life! May you see your children's children! Peace be upon Israel!"

children?
4. Have you had a half time evaluation in your life? Are you winning or losing?
5. How does God want to use your temporal blessings of good health, time, and money to build the Kingdom of God?
6. What core, biblical values do you live your life by?
